I have become obsessed with the idea of leopard pumps...with a black suit...with a black pencil skirt and a red top...with jeans...with pretty much anything. So, my question is...are they the sort of classic shoe that are worth owning as an investment piece?
I am very particular about shoes and willing to spend for comfort and quality. So, I've been seriously thinking about these:
I like the fact that the spots are so small, and I just love the look, but I would like some advice...or other alternatives. Thank you!
I think they are classic - animal prints always seem to come and go as far as being "trendy," but look good with a suit or something classy no matter what IMO.
Bloomie posted these from VS, about $50 so not too expensive:
I told her I ordered the black leather and they run about a 1/2 size smaller, but they are totally cute IMO. The leopard ones are suede.

I got the leopard ones from VS and just didn't like the material for some reason. I sent them back. I am still on the hunt for the perfect pointy toe leopard pump.

Some people collect stamps and coins--I collect shoes.
Nordstrom had some beautiful ones this weekend that I can't find online at the moment - they were Charles David & about $100 give or take (i imagine give). I don't know how classic leopard print pumps are, but frankly I don't care. I have about 4 or 5 pair of leopard shoes in various heel heights / styles & I wear them at will. Some years I guess I'm "in" & some years I'm "out" but they are me so that's my feeling on it!
I'll see if I can find a picture of these - they were so pretty. Nordies had several pair - different brands / heel heights / quality.
ETA: I can't find them - maybe they just came out? I didn't answer your question either on the "investment" aspect...I personally wouldn't pay Jimmy Choo money for leopard shoes, but that's more a reflection of my budget. If you can afford to do it & typically would buy JC or MB, I'd say go for it. If not, I'd make my investment shoes black pumps. I also don't think that price translates to comfort very well.
