oh yea, me too. I'm not saying that fashion can't be great at any price point- but as far as materials, finishes, fits...spendy. Even if you could sell it for cheaper, you don't because no one else does =/
That's me, and everyone of my family members/friends/ex-boyfriends will attest to that. It even happens when we go out to eat. I don't look at prices but almost always end up ordering the most expensive meal (or more expensive than what everyone else is ordering) and it' not like i'm ordering up the surf-n-turf (hahahaha) I just order what sounds good, my mother calls me high-toned.

ALWAYS. I like to cover up the prices and pick my favorite...There has NEVER been a time when I've picked the cheapeast item. Sigh. I need to find a millionaire who will shower me with money.
I've often wondered if they do it on purpose in conjunction with the designers to make you spend more money by showing how crappy the bargain items look in comparison to the expensive item. That might be why we are all able to immediately pick out the $$$ items: because they look 10x better.
Yep, and not just clothes too. A couple days ago I was shown a outdoor guide to pick what patio pavers I like. Of course without realizing I picked the most expensive and difficult kind to do. They look nicer and match the house. My reasoning is why let spending a grand extra come in the way with making your home more beautiful for something that will be there many years.
I do it, too. My family always jokes that I must have been switched with another baby at the hospital, because they're all super-thrifty and I have expensive taste. My dad says that my real parents must be scratching their heads trying to figure out why their billionaire daughter is buying everything at Walmart.
