This makes me just want to vomit and cry all at the same time.  I cannot believe that in this day and age our country is on the verge of taking back a woman's right to control her own body.  And the fact that a man could rape a woman and still be legally granted the right to see the child is disgusting to me.  I can't believe that these lawmakers (presumably men) think it's okay.  If there were any physical way that a woman could brutalize a man like that, there's NO WAY it would be legal.  Just no way.  And I totally agree that if it were possible for a man to get pregnant, there'd be abortion clinics in every hospital.


This just makes me so angry.


And what I don't really get is that iirc, about 60% of Americans believe the current abortion laws should stay in place.  Most people don't feel that we should throw out Roe v. Wade!!!!  It's this relatively small group of very vocal Christian-coalition types that are hell bent on taking away so many rights that have been granted in the past few decades.    It just makes me so sad and so frustrated.

The bill as written does make an exception if the fetus dies during a doctor's attempt to save the mother's life.


Oh, well thank the lord they'll allow doctors to extract a fetus once it's dead.  WTF else would they do if that wasn't an "exception?"

I'm in total agree with you girls and so utterly disgusted at our govenment. What I hate more is that these lawmakers are privileged men who have no idea what it's like to be female, poor, or IN A COMPROMISING SITUATION PERIOD. UGH

ha! they'd probably suggest inducing labor and making the mother give birth to a dead baby.
