I generally like them if they are done in an interesting and cool way.

I do hate it when people wear the t-shirts of bands they haven't seen or aren't into.  I also don't like replica vintage rock shirts.  I feel like it actually takes something away from those of us that actually saw The Who or The Beatles or the Rolling Stones and have t-shirts that are now authentic vintage.  I see the appeal of the replica shirts, they are cool, but as a huge rock fan it rubs me the wrong way.

It really sounds like its up to a personality based on what everyone is saying here.

My feeling on screen t's is that I don't really like t's with sayings or logos such as this:

I love art t's with great graphical prints such as:

I LOVE that last one you posted, Seashells!!!  So cute!

I also have a love/hate relationship with screen tees.  I'm not usually a fan of ones with words, but some are okay.  I hate the ones that say "Princess" or "My boyfriend is out of town."  Blech.  And like a lot of you, I don't like when people wear band tee shirts and don't really like the band.  That seems silly to me.

This one is my fave and I'm going to have to get it soon:

I def. see where some of you are coming from with regards to wearing band t-shirts when you aren't particularly a fan.  I agree, but right now I'm just not really old enough to be a big fan of a band who's t-shirts could be considered vintage hehe!  I keep a lookout for 'real' vintage tees when I go to thrift stores, but so far haven't had any luck.  Where do you girls usually find them?  Specific kinds of stores?  Mens/kids section?

The band tees don't bother me as much as the super-cutesy ones - I really try to stay away from those because IMO they make an already 'young' item into an impossibly young item.  Put me in a cartoon tee, jeans, sneakers, an no makeup and I can get into a movie with a childrens ticket - not a look I like to go for.

It's nice (as always) to know that I'm not alone in my waverings, at least.  Sounds like 'In moderation' and 'Use discretion' are both techniques that should be employed with screen tees.

I think screen tees can be done in a more mature way. Here are some I like:
