No kidding! Good tip to hit the DVF sample sale on the last day! I went the first and I'm glad because I did get a wrapdress I love (and they didn't seem to have many available) but sounds like I should have gone back. Oh and you had to spend $400 to get a free pair of DVF sunglasses the first day so you really did well!

Now I just want to hear from someone that went to the Jimmy Choo sample sale today I know I missed out ;)

I went on Wednesday to get a wrap dress for a friend and there were none left. none. I went through all the racks in all the sizes and couldn't find any. Then, as I was calling my friend to tell her the bad news I saw one that someone had put back. And it was in her size.

A sales clerks said they'd put out more wrap dresses that morning, but by the afternoon they were all gone. she said she expects to see many of them on ebay.

I might hit the jimmy choo sale after work, but that could wipe out my shoe budget.

Halah, I usually go to sales on the last day because prices are usually slashed and i find great deals. Of course, the selection isn't as big, but I haven't found that to be much of a problem. If there is something I really, really want I'll go to a sale earlier.

Not much weekend shopping for me. I just returned a sweater to J.Crew and finally....I just ordered my SS gift. I hope she likes it!

First of all, I am totally jealous of all you NYC'ers. Sample sales in KC are few and far between...

Coca-Cola tee for sis (Coke obsessed) and The Doors tee and some tanks for me from Target (not online)

KC red silk tie and leather gloves for fiance (need to get him the Ronco knives, he's dying for them - yes from the infomercial)

Various CD's and DVD's for sis (family ss) and mom
