Went through my closet go rid of some old stuff including my camel colored part cashmere French COnnecetion pants I have had since college (2002) they had some spots on them and my ass was getting too big for them so I got these to replace them from BR

we finally finished ALL of our Christmas shopping today!! yay!
i got two t-shirts for my brother (i can only find one on the site, the other is a long sleeve graphic tee)

and i got this for myself-it is AMAZING! i have very dry hands, and this made them so soft...i highly recommend.

and i got A LOT of good stuff at TJ Maxx
-a pitcher for my grandmother-in-law
-a vase for my MIL
-earrings for my mom
-photo album for my grandma and SIL

and finally...my SS gift:)

It's from West Elm, on sale for $130 (well, $190 shipped). I saw the matching dining table in one of their stores a while ago and really liked the look and feel of it, so I decided to get the bench for our hallway.

i went to the Eugenia KIm sample sale and finally got a nice hat. I almost got a fedora, but this seemed more classic and more "me."

I went to the last day of the DVF sample sale and got an item that looks similar to this. Mine doesn't have the keyholes on the shoulders. It is a jacket/dress, but just a bit too short for me to wear as a dress. It looks great with jeans and updates the camisole-over-jeans look.

I picked up a green silk dress with flutter (?) sleeves. It is fitted and doesn't make my hip-thigh area look big. I'll take a photo and post it. i also got a black strapless velvet dress. I can't find a picture online. It has a pink silk lining that shows through the dress and comes with a black silk sash. Since all items were samples they were $50 each and 25% off.

Plus, they were literally giving away DVF sunglasses. If you bought one thing you could choose five sunglasses for free. There were loads of styles. I didn't realize it until I got home that I actually had picked up eight pair.

It was a very good shopping day.
