what are your favorite food/cooking magazines?  I've been flipping through Gourmet and Cook's Illustrated at the bookstore lately, but looking for other recommendations too.

Cooking Light is great for recipes.  My husband is a nut about Saveur--it's a foodie type magazine that features a different food or region every month.  It has some recipes, but it's not really a recipe magazine.  We also like Cooks Illustrated--they have a cookbook that is AMAZING.  Seriously.  Everything we've ever made out of that cookbook is great.  It's called The Best Recipe if you're interested.  It's huge and has everything you can imagine in it.

This is a great magazine. I've loved every recipe I've made out of it...and the dishes are so easy to make.

i have to agree... donna hay is super. i have 3 of her cookbooks and every last recipe i've tried has been really, really good. a major plus for me is that the list of ingredients and directions are usually short and simple since i have ADD when it comes to cooking.

i was totally suckered in by the amazing photography and styling of the books, but the content is really good. she also has an incredibly expensive magazine that is also fabulous.

Well they say I'm a simple girl, but I love Taste of Home.  Yummy comfort food recipes you can tear out and file.

I'm too cheap to buy cooking mags since I don't cook a lot, but I do get the free Kraft Food and Family magazine.

I love the recipes in Southern Living. They are easy to follow, range from down-home to more fancy things, and there are always a lot of pictures.

The only one I use is Everday Food, and I love it--easy recipes that taste great, and I appreciate all the tips.

another fan of everyday food here. great, simple recipes.

i also love the recipes in organic style - it isn't specifically a cooking mag, but i really like it. i got a free subscription last year and it quickly became one of my favorite magazines.

of the food specific mags (bon app, gourmet, etc) my favorite is food & wine. i like the articles and features and the wine info, but the recipes are always delicious as well.

My boyfriend likes this one too.  Definitely for a foodie or anyone in the industry.

I picked up Rachael Ray's new magazine, Everyday, last night and it's fantastic! The recipes range from really simple to more elaborate and there is a picture of each one, so you know how it will look when it come out. I also like that it isn't like so many other food magazines that are really only half about food and then the rest is about trips and plates and what to wear to look like a cute chef and kitchen remodelling. This one is about food and recipes cover to cover!
