I went ahead and bought these shoes (or at least they look very similar).  In person, they look like satin instead of like fake leather as it looks in the picture.  When I get the dress, if they don't look good, then no harm, no foul!



I also got 2 strands of really fat pearls for the benefit dinner and some big diamond studs.  For the Christmas party, I got a necklace similar to the one Detroit mentioned except there are no hematite balls between the beads:



and a lariat necklace w/ a tassle, made of the same faceted black beads as the necklace.  I may or may not wear that.
