Okay, brazen, here's my first question: are you really? Brazen, that is? I used to be. As I get older I am finding myself getting calmer and less ballsy.

If you HAD to live in the U.S., where would you choose to live?  I'd like to live in Hawaii, Seattle, Vegas, Mendocino California or Tenessee. They are some of my favorite places I have visited so it might be cool to live there.

What do you really think about Americans? (I'm always curious what Canadians think about us - I'm sure it's some kind of international self-esteem issue or something.) I really like the States. Maybe that makes me not very Canadian, but I think America is cool. American's are generally very nice but-how can I say this? as a general population you don't have any self-eestem issues regarding your nation. Canadian's are a little more humble.

Also we hate being referred to as "America Junior", Canada and America are actually pretty different.

Music - what would you say is your theme song and what song/artist couldn't you live without? I love music. My favorite band is The Strokes, I don't think they get enough credit but they are amazing. My theme song might have to be "Reptilia".

I also like Frans Ferdinand, Tom Petty, Murder City Devils and The Bouncing Souls. Lately I have listening to lots of old Beatles and Rolling Stones albums.

Art - do you have a favorite artist and why? I really like sculpture. I cried when I saw Michelangelo's David when I was in Florence. It was just so unbelievable, I can't even express it. Michelangelo is incredible.

Have you ever wandered into a vintage store or furniture store, seen a piece of crazy furniture, built a room around it in your head, walked out without buying, and still dream about said room? (Or anything similar because I realize this may be something only I experience on a regular basis.) Sometimes yes. I love interior design. I currently have all these imaginary rooms in my head that I'm trying to make in my new house.

Also I do perfect imaginary outfits. If I only looked as good in real life as I could in my imagination!

What's your good luck charm or do you even have one? My first tattoo. Its an Egyptian symbol for protection and it watches out for me.

Hm, I've never heard that phrase before. I can imagine how it would annoy!

Who are some of your favorite chefs? I really like Alton Brown from Good Eats. His book is great, its more like a science manual than a cookbook. Even my bf who hates to cook found the book interesting. I love Jamie Oliver's uniqueness, creativity and how relateable he is.

most hated? Canadian guy Micheal Smith who I met at a tradeshow who was a complete jerk. I think Wolfgang Puck is completely overrated, everything I've tried from Spago sucks. And Bobby Flay. I can't begin to decribe how much I can't stand Bobby Flay.

Do you read a lot of food literature? Basically Cooking Light, sometimes Gourmet Magazine and the odd cookbook. Like I said, after having been in the industry for 8 years my interest is waining.
