HAHAHAHA! I know, I wear mine everywhere---the mall, out to dinner, to church...
I like the Go Jane ones SFC posted and the 2nd Nine West ones shopchicago posted.

What's wrong with trying to be "fashion-y"? After all, isn't that one of purposes of this forum to try to be fashion forward?

I think we are supposed to wear flat boots.
PS -- Nylabelle: the Target flats are a lot better if you put an insole in them. Mine felt like slippers, too, but I got a thick Dr. Scholl's insole for them & they're a lot better now. I have also heard good things about these BP flats that sfclinevandy posted:

and a suuuuuuuuuuper cute leopard print (but they're $228 *gulp!*)
These are $158 (JCrew) and come in gold, pewter, and this pretty bronze:
These are cute too and a slightly lower price point ($98 from BR):
I also feel like I've seen some cute flats at Old Navy, but they're site's down, so it might be worthwhile to check out the store and see if they have anything. HTH!
well i think you should get some flats , well hell get more than one pair- lol , as you know i love my flats and i wear them alot, as you can tell from my post

Thanks for all of the suggestions, ladies. I'm still not sure what kind I want to buy. I'm so picky! I know I want a pair of brown suede and a pair of gold (other than my Target ones, since I'm not the biggest fan of those).
I like those gold Payless shoes! Also check out www.pearlriver.com. They have a shoe section with some really cute mary-janes and slip ons that look cute and comfy.
Cortney, does anything NICE ever come out of your mouth? I've tried to ignore it and be civil, but I think I'm just about at my end. If you're so damn fashionable and such a f'ing know-it-all on both fashion and interior decorating, then you must be making millions of dollars in the industry, right? If you don't like someone's outfit, shoe choice, shirt, curtains, or whatever either keep it to yourself or consult a more tactful person before submitting your response. Everyone here is interested in opinions, not in being made to feel completely inadequate in their choices. Hell, offer up another choice if you don't like it. So critical!!!!!!

When I saw these shoes, cute was not what came to mind. If I were looking for cute, feminine, and "fashion-y"; these would not be them. If I were going to work in the fiords shoveling snow, maybe I would consider them. Then again why buy them when I could just hire someone to do it in order to keep my closet cute! Bottom line is that no one wants to look "cheap" clunking in the snow....so don't clunk in the snow in man shoes...those are just my humble thoughts, lol. By the way, ballet shoes are super cute and whatever Nylabelle finds will look amazing no matter what ground she's walking.
