So two weeks ago, I ordered these.. like many of you..
I got them and tried them on.. They were really comfy.. I decided I couldnt wait to wear them. so I wore them on Friday to work and then to the mall..
PROBLEM STARTS HERE!
I was in Nordies trying on another pair of shoes and when I went to slip these off. I noticed that one of the braids on the top of the shoes was flapping in the wind! The braids are just glued on and right there on my right shoe, the front braid was completely disconnected and there was this hideous white strip of sticky glue stuff exposed. I cant believe they are falling apart after the first 8 hours of wear. I'm calling customer service now. I am hoping to return them. I'm not sure if I got a defective pair and maybe I should exchange them and give them another shot. I just wanted to warn those of you who just got them or may have them on the way.
And while I have your attention, should I exchange or just return?
i am so sorry that that happened with yours....i love mine and i have never had a problem and i have worn them 3 times... i definitely think you should call customer service and complain and ask for a refund...that sucks!
Update. So I called CS this afternoon and they told me to return them immediately. I figured I would give them one more shot, as it seems no one else is having issues.. maybe I just got a defective pair (if thats possible). Hopefully, it won't take too long to get a replacement!
Even if your pair was defective it is annoying that the braids are glued on rather than stitched. I ordered them in brown and bronze but they haven't arrived yet. I guess I should examine them carefully and if they seem shoddy I'll ship them back.
