ugh, yes, this kind of crap is SUCH a huge pet peeve of mine! obviously we can all agree that no one actually believes JLo or Mandy Moore or the unspeakable Paris Hilton has any merit as a designer, but even seeing the words in some vapid magazine article in reference to them makes me want to gag. It's just frustrating to me and probably every other stressed-out, underpaid, overworked design student that these idiots get to take all the money and all the public credit for somebody else's time, hard work and talent. I saw Venus Williams described in the sports illustrated swimsuit issue as a tennis star/interior designer and couldn't stop laughing. Oh well, I guess it's just the same thing as ghost-written memoirs... and untalented people have been disgracing the words "singer" and "actor" for so long now that I should be used to it by now...
