Thanks D! It's not as bad as I thought it was going to be. The bike is heavy, but definitely managable (how do you spel that? manageable?).
I've been practicing/learning on BF's bike which is only slightly larger than mine and I haven't had much of a problem....yet. The main thing that I'm worried about is slow turn arounds...I'm learning those this week...eek!
But in the mean time, I've been practicing wearing my super cool helmet too...lol...can't wait to get a leather jacket!

OMG - love the helmet! I want a half helmet myself (have a full face currently.) They allow you to wear cool sunglasses with them
Well, I learned how to ride last night. Got up to 3rd gear on a residential street!
