Here in the South, we have these evil, evil things called pickle chips. They're slices of pickles. But breaded. And then fried. And then you dip them in ranch dressing. So much sodium, so much fat, and sooooooooo goooooooooood.

I'm ashamed to admit this, but that sounds damn good!!

I normally HATE pickles. But I actually loooove fried pickles. Gosh, I might have to go get one for lunch now!

Chips and salsa for breakfast, although I'm sure that's healthier than a lot of alternatives.

A few nights ago I had a fruit smoothie for dinner and followed it up with pretzels dipped in vegan cream cheese.

I've also had plenty of lunches lately that consist only of Zen party mix from the bulk bins at Whole Foods. I put it in a bag and pay for it first, at least.

My coffee shop has the most delicious muffins. I'm particularly found of the banana walnut, so much so that the barista sometimes doesn't even ask me if I want it, she just gets it for me when I walk up. No wonder my pants are too tight. Luckily, they open late in the summer so I won't be able to go there for a few months.

I've been going through weird snack phases. I was in a huge hummus phase for a while (not that bad, unless of course you eat it with corn chips, which I have), then I switched to ruffles and dip and now I have to fight a snickers bar urge daily.

Does anyone remember the old (and i mean ooooold) meals of shame post?  My lunch today got me thinking about it.  I had two lunch size bags of nacho doritos.  Last night for dinner my friend and I ate about half a bucket of the Toll House cookie dough that you can get at Costco while waiting for a dozen of them to cook.  I feel sick to my stomach as I type this.

That is hilarious, Janey.  When I saw this thread title, the first thing I thought of was me gnawing on a bar of refrigerated Toll House Cookie Dough while driving down the highway.  I had it unwrapped like a candy bar.

I had such a craving for carbs when I was on my clean-eating diet.

That is too funny!  I had baby back ribs, corn slathered in butter and pepper and beer two nights in a row this weekend.  Not leftovers... we barbecued a rack Saturday night and one Sunday night.  They were so good, though.  Salads for dinner this week!

Omg - I'm so pathetic. You guys have no idea. I'm on a *gulp* diet, or rather, ahem, a lifestyle change, and I'm seriously reading all of your food confessions with envy. Oh how I'd love to have a meal of shame... Currently my shameful meals consist of high-fiber, high-protein cereal. It's shameful because there are no veggies, you see?

*sigh* How I'd kill for some pasta and cookie dough...

Much to my dissapointment, my favorite meal of shame has been discontinued.  It was a box of Pasta Roni (you're supposed to make it as a side I'm sure).  I can't remember the exact name but it was angel hair pasta with a sun dried tomato cream sauce.  Well, I guess they re-vamped their line (give me a break, it's freaking pasta roni) and they no longer have this kind.  I remember the night I went to the store to get it, it's the only thing I went to buy, cause DH wasn't going to be home and that's my go to "alone dinner" and it wasn't there, what a terrible feeling!!!!  Now I just go for the good ol' mac and cheese.

I miss you Tomato Basil pasta roni.  Rest in peace.  ;)

I have a meal of shame for lunch once a week, every week...Lean Pockets in Cheese Pizza or Pepperoni Pizza. I don't think I ever had a Hot Pocket/Lean Pocket before about two years ago, but once I discovered them, I cannot go more than a week without. And, yes, I eat BOTH.

I am ashamed...but they're so yummy!

Yesterday was such a meal of shame for me!  I met my girlfriend in SoHo to shop and we got so busy we skipped lunch and were starving for dinner.  So we had mexican.  I had a huge order of cheese enchiladas and cleaned my plate...then we headed to the bar but on the way I had gelato (chocolate and coconut)...then I finished that off with two brooklyn lagers before going straight to bed.

I'm scared to put on pants today I'm sure mine will all be too tight!
