Does anyone remember the old (and i mean ooooold) meals of shame post?  My lunch today got me thinking about it.  I had two lunch size bags of nacho doritos.  Last night for dinner my friend and I ate about half a bucket of the Toll House cookie dough that you can get at Costco while waiting for a dozen of them to cook.  I feel sick to my stomach as I type this.

Ha! I recently had this sudden craving at work for an ice cream sundae. I stopped off at the grocery store on the way home and bought all the ingredients to make one. I made this huge sundae for dinner when I got home.

Pretty gross.

I'm a vegetarian, but I was out running errands with a coworker during lunch today and we stopped at Wendy's on the way back.  I was going to get a baked potato and a side salad but they happened to be out of both, so I ended up with fries and a frosty.

as a matter of fact, yesterday. although it was an appetizer of shame... I had kettle chips dipped into some ranch dressing (because I was craving onion dip and ranch dressing was all I had...)

Here in the South, we have these evil, evil things called pickle chips. They're slices of pickles. But breaded. And then fried. And then you dip them in ranch dressing. So much sodium, so much fat, and sooooooooo goooooooooood.

Wow, some of this doesn't sound so bad at all. I must be one of the few who isn't so food conscience!

Edited to put in 'so' because I don't eat junk food all day! (If I have a little something like a few cookies, I really don't think it's a big deal).

DH and I went backpacking over the weekend, and on our way back, I was craving Taco Bell, so we stopped at a drive thru (no shower in two nights, ew!) and I got an enchirito and some tacos.  It tasted soooo good!

My favorite meal of shame to make right now is campanelle pasta with peas, proscuitto, and a parmasean cream sauce! *drool*  I'm sure it's awful for me, but it's sooo yummy.  I am a giant nerd who takes pictures of the food I cook, so here it is.  The recipe isn't mine, it's from a blog called Tigers and Strawberries, that I love.  Here's the link to the recipe:

I guess I eat pretty healthy but last week I did not go to the grocery store so I pretty much went without fresh fruit and had fast food for lunch everyday.  We also had to eat out twice for dinnerbut I didn't mind since I had yummy lobster/crab cakes, artichoke/spinach dip and a really good pomegranate margarita!

This post has good timing. My dinner plans fell through tonight and so I needed something cheap, quick and convenient and ended up having a big, cheesy meatball sub (which came with fries on the side!). I've been trying so hard to eat healthy and cut down on my meat intake the past few months, and I've been pretty successful, but tonight I just decided to indulge!

That is hilarious, Janey.  When I saw this thread title, the first thing I thought of was me gnawing on a bar of refrigerated Toll House Cookie Dough while driving down the highway.  I had it unwrapped like a candy bar.

I had such a craving for carbs when I was on my clean-eating diet.

Bastet, if that meal is too shameful for you, you can feel free to drop it off at my house any time. I'm just saying this as a friend trying to help and have no other motives.

Last weekend my dinner was beer, wine, and chocolate-covered cake bites. It was super classy.

Ohhh what perfect timing. Last night for dinner I had Memorial BBQ leftovers for dinner which consisted of macaroni and cheese, taco salad and ruffles with sour cream and onion dip. Now that is a shameful meal!

Mine was downright gluttonous for Memorial Day:

After snacking all day on Little Debbie's of all varieties and a small lunch of KFC chicken snacker sandwhich (with maybe a bite or two of their mashed potatoes) I really did it in at supper....

A steak the size of my face

My mom's special mashed potatoes made with butter, sour cream, heavy cream, bacon, a little more butter, and crushed potato chips baked on top...

Strawberry and Feta cheese Salad

and Homemade ice cream for dessert.

I haven't eaten since...lol.
