I am really surprised and disappointed. I ordered the Lorca flap bag in Saddle on sale and was so excited to see it, to smell it, to love it. I was about to wear it for the first time today when I opened up the inner flap and noticed that the stitching was completely frayed on the inside of the lining. WHAT! This is a brand new bag from a "good" company, I wouldn't even expect this from Target! I got a good deal on it but I couldn't believe a $300 bag would come with shotty lining.
So I guess I will call them. They will probably be sold out of the item. Also, if I ship back for a return, I shouldn't have to spend money/time to ship the item back (it will probably cost me like $12). Any advice on the matter? Anyone with a similar experience?
i've heard they have really good CS so i would call them and ask for a replacement. if they don't have that color, they will probably offer the same bag in another color, or a similarly (sale-priced) bag. don't know about the shipping, though. sorry to hear the bag came in this condition :(
I'm sorry about the bag, I would be very dissapointed too, especially because I love that bag! I agree with Erin though, they have really good customer service and will probably offer you that bag in another color if they're sold out of the Saddle color. Let us know what they do for you.
if they have good cs then they should offer to cover the shipping both ways...btw, i have that bag in mulberry and i've only used it a handful of times and the inner silk has a hole in it now. the leather is great but they need to work on the quality of their stitching. good luck on your bag!
