Ahem. I would just like to weigh in here on girl's names. I belive that I have the best one:

Baby Sister.

Yep. That's right. Baby Sister.

Going through med charts at work (which aren't de-identified due to the work I need to do) is always a blast and about a month/half ago I cam across Baby Sister XLastNameX. Seriously. I flipped through the whole 15-odd page chart just to make sure I wasn't loosing it and every single page had the same sticker on it with her name. Baby Sister.

Hehe. That's great.

I'm with the girls who like more traditional names that are less common these days.
  • Jocelyn
  • Kaitlyn
  • Alyson
  • Rebecca (Becca, as a nickname)
  • Elizabeth
  • Evangeline
  • Heather

My girl favorites are:

Neva, Susan, Mary, Holly and Sophia

And I have to say I really like the name Suri too, regardless of TomKat.

Rose
Helen...or Helena
Grace
Emma

I like "older" names.  Rose is my front runner, too bad if DH doesn't like it :)

I like older names too but I guess they are getting to be pretty common again.  I was blown away when I saw that my grandmother's name - Evelyn - had surged to #71 for girls' names!  I guess like most trends names go in waves.

I really love these names I will name my daughter one of these when I have her.

Marlow
Addison
Takoma
Laurel

I used to really love the name
Burgundy Midori
but it's a color and a drink, and that's ridiculous right?

I also like
Corey
Darryn
Natalia/Natalee
Bianca
Jacinda

I could go on and on

I like my daughter's name, Giselle. I also wanted to name her Graziela or Graciela.  Bianca, Natalia and Nadia were also on the list.

I forgot that I like Kennedy and Holly too! All I can say is that we need a 5-year moratorium on the Kaylee/Kayla/Katelyns of the world, because I can't keep track of them all in my classes!

I also knew a girl named Mittie, which I thought was cute. And another girl named Sunny, which sounds totally hippie, but it suited her perfectly.

my oldest daughters name is audrey, which i've loved ever since i first heard it. my youngest daughter is mollie, which i also love, but i used a different spelling of it to make it more unique. here's others i loved:
-sophia
-kaisa finnish for katie
-seinna liked it way before seinna miller
-cadence we almost named my youngest this
-elsa my middle name and my favorite aunt's name
-chloe i'm also a fan of this name
-ivy so old fashioned but cute
-violet or viola again, very old fashioned, but i love it
-annabelle
-beatrice or beatrix

when i was pregnant with my youngest daughter, i asked audrey what we should name her and she said "tinkerbell"!

I like the names Savannah, Carreen (pronounced Ka-Reen), and Kennedy.  I also love double first names like Anna Carol, Mary Elizabeth, etc.
