I know there have been some previous discussions on the board about women's watches, but I still need help! I'm hoping to buy myself a nice watch during 2007 because I don't currently have one. I can spend between $200-450. I want to get the nicest watch that I can within that price range, but I'm really clueless. It seems like Overstock has some great watch deals, but I don't know which brands are the ones that are considered great that I should watch out for!
Here's what I like and don't like... I'm NOT looking for a classic silver watch like this:
I like some more unique details -- but I can't go too far in that direction because I also want something that is versatile and classic enough that I can wear it day in and day out. I also am NOT looking for a watch that only has 12-3-6-9 marked with nothing else because I am not smart enough to tell the time on those! I have really liked the style of the Michele, Invicta and Corum watches that D and Alliegurl have shown us recently. If you were going to buy a watch in my price range, what brands would you look for? Those? Other ones, too? Overstock has some fantastic deals on watches that are marked down...
I would buy this watch at smart bargains. I think it is a bit funky, but with a change out of the strap, it could look very classic as well. You will also be able to get straps in red, black, brown, etc. as the face is versatile.
I love my michele watches. They are amazing quality and they have interchangeable straps as well. So you can go from a metal strap to a leather strap (and in any color!)
Anywho, www.watchclick.com has a great selection of michele watches and the non-diamond versions as well. They are always about 35% off retail so you could definitly get one in your price range. Also watchclik does free shipping and no sales tax.
I suggest the michele MW2 mini or the michele csx 33 non diamond.
