I love Forth and Towne. I know it is supposedly targeted towards the Tabolts (40+) customers, but I think they have some great stuff with unique details. I've gotten some beautiful jackets from them and they have incredible sales.

ETA: If you have a store near you, they also have really good customer service. They actually offer you a bottle of water and, at least for me, give constructive advice on what you are trying on.

I find it to be like banana with some higher end gap stuff mixed in.  I like the store over all.  I find it good for pretty much any age and their prices are in line with gap and banana.

Count me in as another one who loves Forth and Towne.  I agree that the quality is pretty much the same as BR although some of their stuff is on par with Gap (in fact, one of the lines they have is called "Gap Edition".

What part of the country do you live in?  I ask because outside of Cincinnati in Northern Kentucky, there is a Gap distribution center that sells Forth and Towne items.  I have purchased many items from there dirt cheap (I'm talking sweaters as low as 4.99, pants for 6.99, etc.)....

F & T opened a store in our local mall last fall.  I've been there several times, but haven't tried anything on.  I like the colors and details such as wider straps on tank tops so that a bra can be worn without showing.
I did buy a nice silk scarf there last week in an amethyst color to go with my upcoming vacatiion outfits:  $8 for a $44 scarf.  I also saw that they had some nice looking denim trousers that I will go back to try on soon.
Most of my clothes come from Banana or Nordstrom, so I'm hoping to find items I like at F & T.

They have pretty cute outfit assembles.  I *think* I'd heard the name b4 but Ive never seen a store or knew they were part of Gap, Inc.

It looks like they have a very limited amt of avail. locations.  The closest one is about 30 mins from my house.

I love Fourth and Towne...I find them a cross between Gap and Banana...yes the are owned by gap...I like there clothes because they are a good quality at medium pricepoint...more expensive than gap, but less than BR, and they fit a women that has some curves...they have great customer service and great sales
