So my biggest ticket item on wishlist for 2007 - a Caviar Chanel purse in a classic style - was fully granted to me tonight!  Courtesy of very very very generous and kind dad & mom!!! (Belated B-day & Xmas gift)

I didn't even know the name or get all the little stuff I see the ebay sellers sell with - but I got it - and it's real (got it at the Chanel store in South Coast)- and I'm in bliss!!!!

After some research I have learned that my purse is a:  Chanel 2.55 Jumbo Classic Double Flap Quilted Caviar leather purse!  It's with silver tone (b/c I have seen some gold tone wear out eventually) and I chose the Caviar for it's more durable surface! 

I'm so elated at my first Chanel!  It's a classic I hope to keep in excellent condition for many many years and hopefully pass on one day!  I think I can go without shopping for a month or two now!

And just so my other baby doesn't feel neglected, I got this purse a few months ago and never got around to posting it.  I also love that it's embossed leather, not the canvas (Gucci Embossed Leather Medium Hobo Bag) :
