How to dress for 76 degree weather
Permalink Closed

I'm leaving for Miami tonight and for some reason panicking about packing this time. The weather will be about 76/78 but it's typically pretty windy this time of year. What are your warm but not hot weather outfits? Help I have to be out of here by 3 and keeping packing and unpacking.

I was in Palm Beach for NYE and we had the same weather. During the day I wore jeans and a tank and a skirt and a tee with sandals. One day I wore jeans and I was fine, unless I was sitting in the sun and then I got warm. For night, I wore dresses and just brought a pashmina and I was very comfortable... a light weight cardigan would be fine too. When were out on the boat, it was windy and a little too cool for a swimsuit but still warm enough to get some sun so I wore a tank and lightweight cotton skirt from the gap. My boyfriend's brother's fiance brought a lot of Juicy terry during the day and I wish I had brought my stuff because it was very weather appropriate and she looked comfy.

Fun!  But I hear you - I hate packing for warm weather when it's cold outside.  Here's what  I would take:

- sleeveless tops to wear with skirts during the day and jeans at night

- a jersey dress or two

- a lightweight sweater or fitted jacket for nighttime or if it's cool in the shade

For me, it's all about layering, because I could be scalding hot one minute in the sun and freezing the shade.  So the sleeveless top with a jacket/sweater is my BFF.
