Need a good moisturizer with spf 30
Permalink Closed

Any recs? I want to get the Nordies GWP, so I'm hoping to purchase something department store-ish.

I was using Neutrogena's daily moisturizer with spf 30 but it's not terribly moisturizing. I have fairly dry skin (never a shiny moment over here) and I'm fair so 30+ is a must.

I used to use Peter, Thomas, Roth and I liked it but a) Nordies doesn't sell it and b) in the summer it's the one product that goes on a little heavy (although that's not usually a problem for me).

I don't wear a liquid foundation, only powder, if that makes any difference.

TIA!

Have you tried DDF - they make a range of moisturizers - including a great and rich SPF 30! They have a really nice texture and are really moisturizing.

I was very happy with Estee Lauder DayWear.  I don't know if it comes in SPF30, but it's worth checking out!  Plus it comes in two different formulas.  You'd probably want to check out the formula in the pot, as it's more heavy duty moisture.

I've been using that Neutrogena one too, and you're right, it's not really all that moisturizing. In the last Lucky, the one feature I liked was the skincare one, and they recommended the Murad 30 SPF moisturizer. I know Murad is really expensive but I keep hearing good things about them, so I was thinking of trying it out when my current bottle runs out.

I like Dermalogica and they do have an SPF 30. You can also get an additional booster that adds SPF if you have version that doesn't already have it in it. Also, I know that Skinceuticals is a fabulous brand - just not sure if its SPF 30.

I second both Dermalogica and DDF... both are really good if you're prone to breakouts as well because they're oil-free.

I have always liked Decléor products.

Decléor High Protective Anti-Wrinkle Cream SPF 30

I use B. Kamins Sunbar Sunscreen and it's weirdly very mositruizing. You may want to try it out IRL (I *think* it may be available at Nordies but I'm not sure).
