I'll be traveling on a plane for several hours. I don't want to look raggedy just because I'm traveling. What would be good? Maybe a Juicy sweat suit? Not sure I'm a fan of Juicy but it sure does look comfy!
I used to wear Juicy hoodies and stretch jeans on planes, but now I swear by Rachel Pally for airline wear...it looks so much more put together than a Juicy sweatsuit and you could absolutely wear it out to dinner or sightseeing directly off the plane. They're also so ridiculously comfy that I wear my dresses as house dresses and on occasion, sleepwear.
i.e.
Ella Moss and Velvet make similar type dresses. Also, Forever 21 is likely to have a lower-price version if you don't plan on wearing it much.
I always wear ballet slippers in winter and sandals in summer with these dresses.
I personally dislike Juicy anything. But that's just me, so if it works for you, then go for it.
I like to look a little more dressed up for travel. I will usually wear a pair of pants (often black) in a wrinkle-resistant fabric. A nice tee or tank will work in warmer weather, or a thin-knit sweater in cooler weather. I will wear wedges or sandals, depending, and I always layer - esp. this time of year. I get cold easily, so I will bring a cardigan sweater or a l/s pullover to wear over a tee if necessary. And I bring my pashmina because it's the best blanket ever. :)
Really, how I dress for travel isn't that different for how I dress normally...I just try to make sure my travel items are very wrinkle-resistant, since I do a lot of sitting on those long flights!

I know, Juicy isn't my normal style. It's a long overnight flight to London so I need something I can cozy up and sleep in rather than something more dressy.

ITA with Rachel Pally.....and you don't have to worry about wrinkles!
i usually do the same as Collette too. unless you're leaving at 3:00am like i did today in order to be at the airport 2 hours prior to your 6 am international flight... that is taking off 45 minutes late!!!!
sorry i had to rant. but the outfit Collette suggested is my favorite!
