Hiking clothes that aren't hideously ugly?
Permalink Closed

Does anyone have any recommendations for hiking clothes that aren't hideously ugly?  I need some fast-dry pants and shirts for trekking in Peru in February.  I'm short, so I'm really looking for some hiking pants with a shorter rise as well.

I don't have any specific reccomendations for hiking clothes, but you might try Moosejaw.com...they have great stuff and their customer service is amazing.

I'm a big fan of mountain hardware. The quality is insane and they have some more fitted, sleek gear.
http://www.mountainhardware.com - I think if you go to a place like Dick's there is a better selection of stuff.

When it comes to hiking/outdoor specific clothing there isn't much out there that's not really outdoor looking, unfortunately.

What will the weather be like in Peru in February?

http://www.altrec.com and http://www.msoutdoors.com would be good sites to check out for a wider variety of brands, etc.
