The houndstooth looks pretty small? I hope so, otherwise, these might be lame.

just a little lace peeking through would look so pretty, if the houndstooth is as small as it seems.

open up a few buttons for a pop of color The deep red shoe would look pretty sweet with this combo.

To me, houndstooth is a neutral - I'd go with a shot of your favorite color. Bright blue, yellow, purple or pink could punch up your look. Kelly green and red work too, more on the conservative side, though.

My first reaction was to wear it with purple. Maybe like a button-up dark purple or plum shirt with lacey details.

You could also do it with a fitted blazer

Dress it down with a denim jacket and white button-up shirt.

thank you! I knew you guys would have great ideas for me. The houndstooth is really small, but since there's a lot of it, the green is very visible. Do you still think all of those colors will work?
