Okay... there is a ton of snow where I live. There are days when I love my Ugg boots with jeans, but I can't keep my pants tucked in them. Uggs are made to be worn without socks and I hate socks. Any ideas? I'm sick of bending over adjusting all the time.
Please share any ideas you have - I'd really appreciate it.
Aren't you lucky! It would nice if there was snow here... it's January in Connecticut and like 70 degrees out. I hate it!
What I'm going to try to do with my jeans is not put them on all the way- so the cuffs are past the toes, try to hold on to them with my toes, pull my boots on, and then pull my pants up . It seems like it would work, anyway. I only had a chance to wear my new Hunters once this winter, and it seems like this would be the easiest way with boots that don't have zippers. Kind of crazy, but it's worth a shot.
skinny jeans work well for me, but if that doesn't work/isn't an option, try cuffing the bottoms a few times so they're heavier and have a little more bulk to them- I find that works best for me w/uggs.
this is going to sound funny but i usually wear my straight leg jeans and and put the bottom of the jeans underneath my heel and just kinda step on them all the way down into the boot (if that makes any sense) it usually works well on my right foot and my left, takes a few times. hth! good luck!
if you can find a thin pair of socks, stuffing jeans into socks works wonders. but if you just can't stand them, i'd second the cuffing idea that ILoveChoo mentioned. this might sound completely weird, but i also thought about maybe securing the bottom of the pant legs with hairbands/rubber bands? kind of a makeshift skinny jean, lol.
Maybe try some thinner knit legwarmers over your jeans? I'd imagine they'd work like mmmich's hairband/rubber band idea but would work over a wider area.
The skinny jeans I have are way too long for me, so I just make a huge cuff with them so that the jean ends around mid-calf. Then I pull socks on over the cuff and put my boots on. It works pretty well.
i do the same thing as many of the posters above. i fold the jeans w/ one huge cuff and then wear knee length trouser socks over the cuff - works perfect!
for those of you who fold the cuff: this might seem like a dumb question, but where is the cuff located? I have pants I was trying to tuck into jeans, but they are too long and I was just going to chop off a few inches from the bottom because I figured they'd be in my boots the whole time and no one would see. Whenever I tried to cuff them, my ankles and shins just look bulky
