Just curious. I've always been attracted to older men, but I don't know how old is too old.

I've always dated older guys. In fact I've only ever dated one guy younger than me, and he was only a year younger.

Right now, the guy I've been dating for several years is 8.5 years older than me. We laugh about the difference...and his friends tease us to no end, but it's not a problem.

I did (unintentionally) go on two dates with a guy who was 15 yrs older than me. I had no idea how old he was, i though he was maybe a five or six years older. NOPE....it kind of creeped me out. All I could think about was the fact that he was only 2 yrs younger than my Aunt and Uncle...

I've always been more attracted to older guys.

In high school I dated a guy that was 11 years older than me.  Gross.  I don't think 11 years is usually a big deal, but the difference between an 18 year old and a 29 year old makes it completely sketchy.  Only I was too naive to see that at the time.

DH and I are 8.5 years apart.  It works for us.

haha, I know! No can really tell how far apart we are unless they actually know us. He acts and looks (when he's wearing a cap...ahem..) a lot younger than he actually he is.

I've been out with a guy 7 years older than myself, which I think was the oldest. But I've actually had a relationship with someone 5 years older than me, I think he was the oldest. Right now I'm dating someone a year older than me, and I think he's pretty young

I'm a little older than my husband.  I'm 32 and he's 30.  When I was dating, I never really had a set preference.  I dated both guys older and younger than me.

My first long-term BF (right after high school) was four years older than me. DH and I are just 2 years apart. I kind of wish he would start going grey already - I have and he's older than me!

don't worry about it.  my FH and i are just four years apart- but my sister and her late husband were 28 years apart.  at first my family was a little freaked (as was his) but we all got over it when we discovered how much fun they had together.  it never really seemed odd to us once we got over the initial shock.

I tend to go for slightly older guys. The biggest difference was five, smallest was three.

My husband is 9.5 years older than me.  The man I dated before him was 20 years older than me.  Age is nothing but a number to me.  Men mature more slowly than women anyway so it seems as if they are the same age as me

Bex and aclassicbeauty thanks for reassuring me.

My bf is 26 years older then me.

I usually date men older then me,but usually they are 13 years older at the most. At first the age diff weirded me out ,but once I realized how much we have in common and how supportive he is it didn't seem so odd to me any more.

Edited because I some how bolded it.

When I was 18 I dated a guy who was 27. Uh yeah, that pretty much didn't work at all. He was ready to get married and I just wanted to have fun. I think I really hurt him but it was totally unintentional, we were just at two totally different places in life.

8 years. I was just out of college and unbelievably naive, though, which makes the difference seem even bigger in retrospect.

mine is 12.5 years. he turns 34 on wednesday (eep!) and i just turned 21 about 6 months ago. we've been dating over 5 years.

(please don't judge me for dating him when i was 16 and he was 28. ...i get all embarrassed when i see the "to catch a predator" shows on dateline and realize that apparently he's a skeeze because of this because it's so not that way AT ALL.)
