I got a job offer today!!! 


You all have no idea how terrifically thrilled I am at this.  I hate my current job.  Hate it.  I told my boss back in August that I'd start looking for a new job and have been looking ever since.  I've been worried lately that my search was starting to stagnate when all of a sudden I got a call this morning at like 10 saying this organization had created a job with me in mind and could I please come in this afternoon at 3?  And I got the offer right then and there, pretty much.


This new job is exactly what I've been looking for too.  It plays to my strengths and utilizes my best skills and will give me some new challenges too.  It's a larger company (and financially secure!  bonus points!) and much more dynamic than the current job.


And I'll be making a bit more than what I'm currently at.  Not a ton, but some and that's exciting. 


Anyway, yay me!
