I really feel like my wardrobe is "just right" at the moment (I'm going to weed out a few more things) and i'd like to put off buying clothes for as long as possible. I actually returned a handful of things from Target today, because I just didn't "need" them. I'd like to hold off buying anyhing (clothes/purses/shoes) until at least April 1st, but even holding off for a month or setting a strict budget would be good. Anyone else wanna play?
Me too! I've spent a ton of money this month since coming home, since there really isn't much else to do. I made careful purchases, so I don't regret anything, but I need to stop spending since there isn't anything else I need right now.
I'm in. I need NOTHING! I got new stuff in NYC then I have gotten casual stuff that I need for Christmas. And I bought 6 pairs of shoes in the week around Christmas (yes, 6). In the interim weight loss I don't need to purchase not even one thing.
I usually set minor limit for myself of like $20 a week or something like that so I don't feel guilty about buying something I feel i "have" to have but it's still minor enough to not hurt my budget.

I'm in as well! However, I am going on vacation next month and have to buy a new pair of black sandals and a new bra. Other then those two items and the obvious necessities I will shop no more until April 1. Sign me up!!

I'm in because I don't want to buy a bunch of fat clothes. I am going to do mini presents for every 5 pounds I lose but that is it for right now. Unless something comes up I will try and restrain myself from shopping.
Soon. I've done a lot of clothes buying lately but I'm not quite finished yet. I need two pairs of shoes (sneakers and an out and about cute pair) and some short sleeve shirts before I'm ready for Spring.

Ditto that. I don't want to shop at my current size. If I could lose 15lbs, I'd have a closet full of barely worn clothes.
I'm in! I was kind of looking for a couple tops to go with two skirts I just got on sale, but haven't seen anything yet. With the new Anthro spring stuff out I need to stop shopping and start saving. And I want to lose about 10 pounds, too.
I'm there. Although I've kind of already been there ever since getting back from Paris/London. But this ban will make me feel more accountable so count me in!
I just returned a few pieces I wasn't in love with & filled a few gaps, so I'm definitely in for a this challenge. I'll try to hold out as long as I possibly can.
I've been on a ban for exactly 3 months now, but I'm going to continue so I'll join in. My rules are NO clothing, shoes, or bags. Except for things in those categories that I needed to replace. Shopping is allowed if purchased with b-day/Christmas money. Jewelry is allowed, although I try to keep it minimal.
According to my Weekend/day Shopping posts it may look like I'm buying more than I am since lots of it gets returned for various reasons.
In these 3 months I've bought:
no handbags
one cheapie pair of non-replacement shoes
one piece of inexpensive outerwear (which I've already used a bunch)
some jewelry
I am on the lookout for a brown bag, which I will allow myself to purchase once I find the perfect one.
