How do you wash your undies??
Permalink Closed

Mine are getting beat up in the washing machine right now.  I thought I had read once about a garmet type bag to wash your intimates in in the washer so they didn't get beat up but I can't seem to find the right phrase to google and come up with my phantom solution.

Thanks for the help!

try lingerie bag, or something like that. VS will have them, usually, Nordie's has them...probably most dept. stores will carry them.

I wash all my underwear in a garment bag and then hang dry. Bras I hand wash.

I wash cotton undies in the machine. I wash mesh/lace ones (on gossamer, hanky panky) by hand. I am paranoid that the mesh/lace underwear will be destroyed otherwise.

I do wash tights in a mesh bag thingy I got at either Target or Wal-Mart.

This one looks cool.

I wash them in the machine on delicate with woolite. Then air dry. They last forever.

Thanks for the suggestions and the searches.  I tried VS last week and the only bags I could find were full size laudry bags online.  I've thought about hand washing but for some reason that doesn't sound as clean as running them through a washer.

I think I'll check out the thing bb&b is selling and see if that will improve things.

I love my lingerie bag... I even throw hand wash items in there and then wash them with the rest of a regular load, and everything turns out fine. You could probably even just find one at Target or Walmart... I bought mine at the dollar store a couple years ago and its still great.

I think I got my lingerie bag at CVS or Duane Reade. I wash my tights and even bras in it.

Ok first I read "do you wash your undies" and thought we had another pervert lurking on the site!!!

But anyhoo, I wash mine in the machine but my mom tries to get me in the habit of washing them by hand and then letting them air dry.

Sorry about that.  I was trying to come up with the least odd sounding title for the thread and that's the best I can do!!  No perv here just confused.

I wash undies in a lingerie bag I got from the dollar store.  They always sell those bags, so you can check there too.
