I'm looking for a denim skirt....something that I can wear for both work and play.  All I see is minis everywhere!  Anyone seen any work approprite styles?

I really love the J. Crew pencil skirt from this past year - it might still be available on their website, but I've definitely worn it to work on jeans day!

I actually found one I really like at Express around Thanksgiving.  It's the Stylist skirt.  It has a buttons down the slit in the back, very cute.  It's not the typical denim skirt styling (no pockets in back) but you might like it.  There is a bigger picture on their site but here is a small one:

I have the one from Gap. It's an "odd" fit, which I don't recommend.


It fits big in the waist, and tight everywhere else. Plus it's much shorter than it looks, and I"m 4'11???

I actually bought the Gap one yesterday. (on sale for $10) I"m 5'6" and it hits me at the knees.  I've had bad experiences with Gap skirts in the past but this one hugged in all the right places.
