i have been thinking about this top for almost a week now, and it's on sale for $75 (was $300). it seems a bit much for cotton, but i think the details are special.



i have it in my cart right now, and while i really don't need it, i think it would be really cute for spring. if no, do you have a suggestion for a cheaper, similar top?

I LOVE the neckline on this top and I think the draping would be really flattering on. I definately think the details make it worth $75.

That is a beautiful top and you are right: it would be gorgeous for spring.  It reminds me of Jeffrey's collection on Project Runway.

I like it, but I think those details and the red stripes will be easy to find this spring.  And sometimes when things are marked down so much, its because it has a serious fit issue.  Would you lose a lot on shipping and be able to return if it didnt work?  If you have nothing to lose, than i'd try it out.  If not, I don't know..can you comfortably afford it?  It's still pricey for a jersey top.

lynnie: their return policy pretty much sucks. i can comfortably afford it, but would (try) to resolve that this is IT for this month.

farrah: i thought it looked like jeffrey's collection, too, which i LOVED! (and def can't afford the cosa nostra stuff at ron herman)

It is cute and I certainly don't think $75 is too much for Vivienne Westwood. But I voted no because I don't like Dolce Vita's return policy on sale items.

lilykind - just got this today. i have mixed feelings, as it's a very cute top, but i feel like shopdolcevita pulled an ebay, and pinned the top to drape like that in the picture. maybe not, but it doesn't drape like that on me...(though if i weren't chesty, it might, i guess) also, i thought in the picture it had a separate piece of fabric wrapping around but it's one piece.

i ordered the medium, and i think it would be best for a 6, and i am an 8/10. i'll post a picture tomorrow.
