I much prefer the second one.  For one, it would be easier to carry and if the strap is long enough you could even put it on your shoulder if your hands were full.  I also prefer the shape and the hardware.

I love the fabric..but I'm not sure if I've seen a leather irl...i just love the way the fabric lays...but I always love leather...this is probably not helpful at all...

I vote for the Gucci too.  I'm always a sucker for Gucci accessories...


I think the leather is more classy.  I have a black gucci hobo in leather, and I really love it.  The only con is that it's kind of too rigid for my taste.  This is, however, a personal preference, as I like my bags slouchy.
Also, this was a few seasons ago, so they might have changed it by now.

Get the Gucci hobo in black leather. You should try it on in a store first (if you haven't already) just to check the size and comfort of the the strap.
