Not to be controversial or a complete ass, but I don't feel that sad about his death.  He was an amazing/ground breaking entertainer, but that does not change the fact that he was a woman beater up until his death.  That is not cool at all.

but, most amazing artists were/area screwed up in some way.

yea, but that doesn't excuse it. Still, I will miss him because I do love his music. Apparently, his "wife" and kid are also kind of homeless now. When Brown married her a while back, apparently her pending divorce still wasn't completely over, so she and Brown weren't really officially married. They never bothered to get it corrected legally, so now she and their 5 year old son can't get back in the house because she's not the heir or something.

Just sad all around.
