What to wear with orange?

Hi,


I just bought a orange wool coat from Zara.  This is the first time I bought a coat that is not black, navy, gray or in the blue color family.  I love it for the style (has a funnel neck and tie waist) and the color (a pumkin orange).  But I have no idea what colors look good with it, besides blue jeans, khaki and brown. 


You girls are so good at picking color combos.  I have a hard time going out the box of wearing black, blues, teals, purples and grays.  I know that's boring, but it's easier to match clothes in the morning.   Any suggestions on colors combos with orange will be great and with pictures is good too.  TIA

Orange looks great with brown.  I also like it with a light blue.

depending on the shade of orange, i like mixing with other warm colors (mustard yellow or maroon + orange w/ jeans to balance).

Ditto.  Rich colors like Kitty suggested as well as deep reds and burgundies look nice.  I'd pair a pair of brown trousers with a purple sweater and the orange coat for a pretty outfit.  I'd go for pieces that are rich in color but also with some nice texture to them.

Thanks, everyone!  Now I have a good excuse to buy new pants.   I have tan and camel color pants, but no brown.  I'm glad I can wear some of the colors I have at home to wear with my new coat.

I love orange and cream. One of my favorite casual outfits for a while was this bright orange sweater worn with cream cargo pants. And all the other's girls suggestions sound really cute too...
