As many of you know, I live in Cairo, Egypt.  There are several palces here where one can get leather coats and pants made (not sure about shoes or boots).  Hubby wants me to get something made, but I'm not sure what.  he suggested a coat but I don't know if I want one.  I'm not really into leather pants, so it should be either a coat or handbag I assume.  


Are leather coats "out"??  I could go with a leather hoody by Mike and chris but I'm looking for other suggestions.  Any advice?  Please feel free to post pics, thanks! 


eta--here is the leather mike and chris hoodie i mentioned.  it's cuter from the back but i don't know if i love it enough to get one made.  maybe in olive green??  i wish there were some mackage coats in leather that I could copy. sigh.

What about a leather pencil skirt? I think the pencil cut would down play the sexyness factor of the leather skirt and make it pretty wearable. An olive or eggplant would be especially pretty and much more unexpected than a black one, although black would be plenty wearable too.

I was just about to type exactly what greendiamond did. Also, maybe like a cognac blazer? I think the hoodie is cool, but I'd worry about whether they'd be able to pull it off. In Sri Lanka a lot of people I knew tried to get stuff tailored and about 40% came out well, while the other 60% was totally "Lankanized."

Thanks, girls!  I like the pencil skirt idea, but I need to wait until I lose all of my baby weight first.  Hmm--I was thinking about a blazer in a cool color--cognac or olive might fit the bill.  And the hoodie is still an option.  Any other ideas?
