I got a Dyson vacuum!

I'm not a very "domestic" person, but DH and I try to keep our apartment clean.  My parents got us a Dyson for Christmas, and we tried it out last night. Behold, the nastiness that it sucked out of our carpets after just one cursory vacuuming!  We just wanted to give it a try in the living room, but it sucked up so much crud that we ended up doing the whole apartment.  I think that owning a Dyson will cause me to vacuum a lot more than I did before.  Ew!

Dysons rock! I got one a couple of months ago and the first time I used it I filled up the canister once per room....and I had just vacuumed two days before.

OMG that is scary but just think about how clean your carpet is now.  I dream of the day I get to buy a dyson and clean my living space.

No, it's dust.    I love this vacuum, it made my apartment look like I had new carpet put in!
