I know it's Christmas, and I feel wrong shopping on a day when I already got lots of great presents. But I've been waiting for a cash flow for a while now to be able to buy a few bras...which Christmas provided.
Anyway, it's not pretty but it's soooo comfortable and I can't wait to have this - I have the nude one now and I look forward to every day that I can wear it!
ETA: More on the front of not-especially-pretty but very-especially-practical underthings:

I went ahead and got these. Can't get 'em out of my head! I like the grey peep toes too but not sure if they are right for Spring/Summer wear which is what I'm shopping for now.
I went and tried the top on in the store since mine is on it's way. Love it! I'd get other colors, but I only like the blue.
The freebies are fab.
I cashed in my winning scratch and lotto tickets and went to AE to redeem my $10 money card and got:
I LOVE this! It was only $20 too!
But in a pretty lavender.
Not too crazy about this color. Might exchange for something else.
Hit the B&BW sale:
Okay, no more shopping. It was just Christmas afterall!
Hi Ttara. I agree that the Dream Tisha isn't very pretty but I have it in a soft pink and it looks much better than the beige. They also make it with lace edging now to pretty it up a bit. Its a great bra for support and shape.
ttara123: I have 3 Dream Tishas and I don't know how I got through life without them...best support ever and the nude ones are invisble even under 1 white Hanes wifebeater. I guess they're not the cutest bras ever but they are still way cuter than what full-figure bras looked like 15 years ago.
I needed basics so I took advantage of the J. Crew sale.
ETA: an ebay score (they were $22)...I'm sure that people will think that yellow patent is fug, but I can't wait to wear it with charcoal gray and denim.
From J.Crew I got a lovely grey, hip-length, military style, double breasted coat- it has epaulettes on the shoulders, I love it. I also got 4 of their basic rib tanks, they are my favorite. I tried to look for a pic of something similar on their site, but i've been getting "page not found" for about two months now whenever I try to access their page.
From Jockey I got 5 bras at $1.99 a pop!
From American Eagle (not an outlet, just a regular store at the outlets) 4 pairs of underwear, marked way down.
I have vowed to buy no more heels, I'll still wear the ones I have, but no more new ones, my feet suffer too much. I went crazy at the Dolce Vita Sale.
I probably shouldn't have bought the same shoe in two different colors but I was having a hard time deciding which I wanted more.
My mother and I hit up a couple of Gaps and Jcrews in the city to stock up on basics and spend gift cards.
From Gap:
and this was only 4.99 in the store
And a black coat for only 50 bucks that I don't see online.
Then JCrew I really needed some basic sweaters: I also got a denim skirt and fingerless gloves and knit hat. They had some great deals at Jcrew if you need sweaters!
And (saving the best for last)...I made a major investment! This beautiful Edith Chloe bag! I'm in love and now I can fit my laptop and other stuff in a single bag for my weekly flights and being onsite with my clients (I hate laptop bags).
