The first option was definately the way to go!! And I agree on doing a 50's hair style and red lipstick.


For an easier hairstyle maybe you can curl your hair and brush it out a bit to get it wavy and do a deep side part and clip one side of your hair towards the back of your head with a big barrette (or some sort of pretty hair clips)

That's a really good idea!  I just got my hair cut to just below shoulder length, so maybe now it will obey my hot rollers if I try to curl it.  I think I'll give it a test run over the weekend to see if it works.
