Can I buy a Gift Card with a Gift Card?

I have a GC for a grocery store that sells GCs for other retailers like Starbux, Macys, etc.  Does anyone know if I can use the grocery store GC to purchase...lets say a Macys GC? 


I checked the grocery store's site and this is all it says:


What can I purchase with a Gift Card?
Gift Cards can be used for merchandise purchases in stores. They may not be used for online or pay-at-the-pump purchases or for services such as stamps, lottery tickets, money orders, money grams or Western Union.

I don't *think* you can, but it may be worth fighting for at the supermarket if you complain since it doesn't specify that gcs are excluded.

i am pretty sure you can't. but i guess it could vary store to store.
