No panda babies in Houston but we do have an elephant baby.  This is Mac and he was born in October.  He just hit the 500 pound mark this week!

He is soooo adorable!  Elephants are my absolutely Fav.  We had a baby elephant in Columbus and I went to see him.  Wait until you see the baby elephant in Houston, He will be EVEN cuter in person!

In Thailand, elephants are good luck.

Actually I have been making a once a month trip to see him since he was born - so this is my Dec trip.  My mom bought me a zoo membership last time she was here so I could see him, the 2 baby giraffes, and the baby flamingos - those are the most adorable babies ever behind the pandas.
