Christmas party-what to wear (irl pics)

hello everyone, my husband and i have to go to a Christmas party sunday night and the card says "casual attire". i bought these dresses today and i would like to wear one of them, but i'm not sure which one...any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated. also, any input on accesories would help, i'm not sure i love the necklaces, so let me know. thanks so much! (btw, please excuse my very messy bathroom...)

I really like them both! I voted for the brown dress because it looks more casual and I love the necklace you're wearing with it.

Call me a rebel, but I vote for brown dress with turquoise necklace. I'm not getting a vibe from the black boots, but I like the black dress also.

You look great in both but I'm going with brown...it's definitely the more unexpected of the two and just as sophisticated with the right outfit (like yours).

First of all, I love both of those necklaces!  I voted for the brown dress, because, like Collette said, everyone will be wearing black dresses.
