The cords in question.



These are black.



These are chocolate brown



I think it's more a a "do these pants work with these color boots" than anything.

I like the cords better w/ the black boots.


BTW - I have the cords and I absolutely love them.  They are really comfortable and I find the cut super slimming in the hip area, which is something I really need.  I bought two pairs at full price, which is really rare for me.  I think I'm going to buy another pair or two now that they are on sale.

How does the sizing run on the cords? I'm hesitating only slightly because I'm kind of difficult to fit in pantswise. I wear a 28 in most jeans...was thinking of ordering the 29.

I would order your usual size.  J.Crew pants run a tiny bit big, IMO, and this fabric is really forgiving.

Yes, they have them in stores.  The store sale doesn't always match up w/ the online sale tho.
