Ive heard you can store nuts in the freezer, but how about dried fruit? Bad idea?

I've never tried dried fruit but I've frozen fresh fruit quite a bit and never had a problem.  The only thing that might concern me is that if they have a lot of sugar in them (not sure if they will or not) the fruit might come out sweeter than before and with juices.

I couldn't say whether or not it would be *bad* to store them in the freezer, but you certainly wouldn't need to do so in order to keep them tasty.

i know if fresh fruit gets freezerburn on it then the nutritrients in it have "gone away" or whatever. I don't know, I heard it on Oprah :)

I buy dried fruit pretty frequently and just keep it in the cabinet.  The stuff lasts so long anyway that I don't think there's much need to freeze it.
