I want to make a scrapbook for my boyfriend either for xmas or his birthday thats in a couple of months. Ive made scrapbooks before, one for my ex who played a college sport that included all his newspaper articles, and another one for a one year anniversary to look back on the year together.  But this one I want to do for the New Boy is on a much GRANDER scale.  He is an athlete who came to america to play a college sport.  He has now gone on to play professionally.  He has nothing to show his family back in his native country of all the success he has had in the united states (they dont have any access to internet etc..) So I would like to compile all his news articles from the time he was a freshman in college until now.

I just dont know how to go about doing this, there are so many articles, but i think i just need to show the important things.  But then I dont know if i'll have enough articles.  And alot of the college articles are hard to find because it was 5 or 6 years ago.  Another problem is I dont know how to sort of put it all together, because im basically chronicaling his life over the last 6/7 years hes been in america.

Any Help??

Could you find the college articles in newspaper archives? If your city library doesn't have it, I bet his university does. I think my university has newspaper archives on microfilm going back 10 years or something... so maybe you could find them that way and print them out?

I think you should put all the articles in there that you can find. I'm sure his parents will be terribly interested in any articles about their son...even the ones that aren't "big." They haven't been here to see any of it!
