As you all know by know, I need cute, black snow boots. 


I posted these Sugar ones yesterday - they're $88: 



I just stumbled upon these cuties (at least I think they are!) at Payless for $35.


 Black


I think they'd serve the purpose, but are they totally hideous?  Am I blinded by the price?


I'd rather save money, especially this close to Christmas.


I should also mention, that I have 2 other pairs of snow boots (tan & brown), so if I bought the cheapie Payless ones, they wouldn't be my only ones. 


Thoughts??

the second ones are super cute too - love the pom poms.


I voted for the payless ones, especially after I read your post, but I'm going to take a quick gander and see if I can find anything else...

Well, I think both are cute!  Love the pompoms on the payless pair, so I voted for them.  And then it won't really matter if they get ruined since they're cheaper.

I like the payless ones actually! If you don't need a pair of black snow boots right away, I'd get the payless ones now and then go shopping after xmas and look for nicer ones on sale.

The Sugars are really unusual. I love the sole - they look like a flat but they're not. But under the circumstances I'd definitely get the PL ones and wait till after Christmas for the others. The PL won't be likely to last the whole season, so you'll be glad to have the other ones later.

Funny, the pom-poms are the first thing I'd say bye-bye to...

#1. Payless ones are cute but I doubt they'll be very warm and they might not even be waterproof.

I still like the sugar ones better; they're more unique and I agree with ILoveChoo that the Payless ones are probably going to be bad quality.

Payless Ones, I just saw them on the site and thought they were so similar to the 1st pair and saw your post.  They're cute, serve the purpose, and they're inexpensive.
