I have been seeing more and more "boxed" toe boxes on shoes lately - I like it. I know some of you are opposed to square toe boxes, and was wondering how you felt about boxed toe boxes...

I like it. Its kind of funny, recently I went to Lori's in Chicago looking for a pair of round toe chocolate flats. Everything I liked was boxed toe or whatever its called. It was kind of annoying, because I really wanted round toe shoes for a particular outfit, but I was definitely intrigued.
I'm undecided. I think I'd need to see them IRL. I'm not crazy about the first pair, but the second look pretty cute. I think in the first, I'm more opposed to the contrast than the shape.
I was looking at a pair of Cole Haan shoes with this toe style. I was going to buy them so I guess I liked it enough. However, I was also taken with the comfort of the shoe, and rationalized the new look with the fact that none of my shoes had that shape.
(I didn't end up buying the shoe because I couldn't find the lizard emboss anywhere by the time I decided to buy them).
And, now I would like to pick up a pair with this toe box style. Why not? I've got every other
I dunno...not feeling this look especially. But sometimes things take a while to grow on me. And I'm really, really into round toes right now, even though I still love a good pointy stilletto. DH is patiently waiting for me to get off the round toe kick. He doesn't like them. I think if I only wore pointy toes, he'd be a happy boy. :)

I like them. I can't wear a pointy toe to save my life. I know everyone hates square toes but that is usually the most comfortable on my feet followed by round toes. I'm excited to try these out.
