It's finally cold in NYC (altho i did enjoy eating dinner outside last week) and I have a few cute hats I'd like to wear, but once I'm done straightening my hair I'm not about to smoosh and crimp it with a hat.


Any brilliant, or perfectly simple, or both, solutions to this conundrum?

earmuffs? I don't know a quick way to fix hat-hair...my hair is so easily rumpled and limpified that I don't wear hats unless I don't plan on taking it off (or don't care if I look disheveled, if I'm just going to my best friend's house or something)
