Thoughts on these Dolce Vita shoes?
Permalink Closed

I know some of you girls have already purchased these so any thoughts on the comfort level? I'm looking for a new pair of black flats to put on my xmas list for work and the like. I want them to last a decent amount of time and be comfy and cute. Will these fit the bill? If not, any suggestions? Preferrably under $100.

I can't speak for those DV shoes, but I have this pair and they're very comfy.

As for recs under $100, I have these in camel and they're comfy. They're not 100% flat, they a tiny heel. Franco Sarto Oggi, $90 online (I got them in store for less).

This isn't black, but I wanted to show you the "heel" -->

Actually, I really like the pewter version better than the black. I just added it to my list as well.

And I'm definitely okay with a smaller heel. Just nothing too high. Thanks!

I bought the Dolce Vita shoes you posted and IMO, I thought they were at least 1/2 a size too big.  I ordered an 8, which almost always works for me, but if I had kept them, I would have had to size down.  They seemed relatively comfortable, but there wasn't much to the bottom of them.  It felt like there was a thin strip of rubber and that was it--no padding.  So, they'd probably be comfortable to wear around an office for a day or something, but not for major walking.  HTH!

Good to know. That's what I was looking for. I'll take them off my list then because I tend to walk a bit during the day outside and I want something that will work for that as well.

They did look a little thin on the sole.

That's exactly how I would describe my dolce vita flats.
