These are the ones I have tried and liked.



  • COH Ava straight leg

  • Chip and Pepper Pamela straight leg (I own this one)

  • Joe's Cigarette jeans in the darker washes.

  • J Brand 14" Cigarette leg and 12" pencil leg (if you have thinner legs)

If you've got a slim build, I think the Sass and Bide Frayed Misfits are the absolute best thing ever.

i didn't want to spend loads on the trend (even though i really like my skinnies) and i got two pair of gap ankle-zip pants. one pair faded black and one blue for $10 each.

i think they look nice on, and work really well tucked into boots or with flats.

I have a pair from Express (my favorites)

and then a black pair and a gray pair from F21.

i have the j brand 14" but that looks a bit like straight leg sometimes so thats how i justify spending so much on trendy jeans


i got another pair from uo


and a black pair from h&m for $20.


ohh ohh....and my friend bought a pair from Delias that were super cute for only $40.

I don't have a pair of skinnies per se, but I have to recommend Levi's. I love their bootcuts and in July picked up a pair of straight leg at the Levi's store. I love them!

I got some straight ones from Old Navy...they look pretty skinny to me! I'm not big on the tapered leg, I like it narrow and straight.

earnest sewn decca in manhattan- by far the best ones i've tried!  i have two pairs- though the smaller ones are SO tight on me now.  i wear mine about 3 days per week in the winter.

I have the Sass and Bide Frayed Misfits in Black. They are pretty skinny, and amazing quality. I also have a pair from Juicy that I love because they are a dark blue wash. I also bought some cheap pairs from brands like Paris Blues that are crazy skinny. I only wanted to spend a little on them because after a month or two they totally stretch out.
